As a boy in Provence, Alain Gourrier spent time with his grand-father, a photographer and sculptor who hung with Picasso at the outset of cubisme.He went on to study architecture and film, and then moved to the States where he did postproduction for visual vets like Peter Smilie, Eric Ifergan and Gore Verbinski. Alain Gourrier's surrealistic reel features spots in which a woman « picks up » water, for Kenzo and birds skim across a tabletop’s aqueous surface for Boeing.
Alain Gourrier's latest work features four films for Samsung Russia, Land Rover, Skyye Vodka and Playstation PSP for the US with stunning visual effects.
