Damien Peyret
Having worked as art director for Clm/Bbdo, Ddb and Eurorscg/Betc in Paris; Damien moved on to directing. His first film, written and directed for Dunlopillo, won the Silver Lion award at the 1998 Cannes Festival and the film Free.fr won Strategy award in 1999. Since then he has made over 80 advertising films.
Damien has also directed several short films for Arte and Canal+. "Un Taxi pour Reykjavik" was selected for the festivals of Locarno, Valencia, Rio, Istanbul and Manchester. Images from these films gave rise to photographic exhibitions at the Spree Gallery and the Reykjavik Photography Museum.
In 2005 Damien made two documentaries in China for Arte. Telling the story of a young shaman from the minority Naxis people trying to save his thousand-year old culture.
In 2007 he signed the development of his first feature film.
