Who is French Directors ?
Nicolas du Boullay was brought up in the US and Switzerland. After completing an MBA, Nicolas worked in Paris for the freshly created D.D.B. France, as an account executive.
After a few years with this highly successful agency, he became partner and General Manager of Son & Lumière Paris which soon became one of the most significant actors in the commercials business. Nicolas developed for Son & Lumière a European Network of companies with joint ventures in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Holland and Spain.
Later, he decided to create a smaller and more creative film company of his own, Boards. Over a decade Boards won a number of awards, and was particularly known for experimenting in all the possibilities of animation and computer graphics.
During this period Nicolas was elected President of the Union of Commercials Producers.
Today, using his previous experiences, Nicolas du Boullay has created and developed French Directors aiming at promoting French (and a few foreign) commercials directors throughout the world. French Directors has grown steadily over the past three years and now successfully represents about 20 major directors in over 30 countries.
